No? Well, while it may not be your number, it is exactly how many days it’s been since my last blog post. Yep. October 11, 2016. Phew.
Why? I wish I could say I’d spent it leading CrossFit classes in Cambodia or maybe improving nutritional knowledge in Naples. But, my honest response is that life happens, relationships change, careers change, and – perhaps most importantly – WE change.
If we see each other on the social channels, then you may already know the story.
I left my job as a personal trainer and nutrition coach at Sports Village here in Lebanon, TN back in August of 2017 to venture out on my own professionally. Next, I married my very beautiful, driven “Everything Partner”, Holly, back in October of the same year.
Our life has since been a journey of growth and excitement as we go about planning both our future impact and our future together. We are both beyond ready to start rolling out the plans.
Ok, enough with the trip down memory lane.
What’s the latest?
For starters, you’ll be seeing much more content from us. Our mission is to give away as much knowledge and information as possible. Not only that, but we’ll show you the HOW and WHY behind the WHAT.
As a 2-person team, you can expect us to publish regular blog posts, vlogs, and training videos. In addition, we’ll be serving up free nutrition coaching tips, ways to reduce your stress, and so much more. Think of us as a way to develop your best life by optimizing your body, mind, and spirit with consistent good habits and support.
Which leads me to…
Where’d all the carbs go?
The last time Holly and I probably saw you, we were developing a small following around Ketogenic diets and fasting. Then life happened and we receded from the social light for a few months.
Are we still ultra-low carb? Do we still go days without eating? Do we only allow ourselves to lick an apple slice once every 2 weeks for energy? NO, NO(t really as often), and NO, it’s more like every 5 weeks.
The very first series that we’re tackling is the subject of CARBS.
A few of the carby things you can expect to learn more about:
- Carb cycling 101.
- Carbs for weight loss.
- Carbs for muscle gain.
- How carbs impact your stomach and brain chemistry.
The subjects we cover will be featured in multiple formats, both written and recorded. We will share them via our social media channels, but if you want to be sure to get the latest posts please be sure to subscribe to this page. It’s free and we promise never to sell your information or spam you with junk email.
Expect to see a minimum of 2 blog posts and 2 vlogs per week. We’ll upload training videos sporadically, but if you haven’t already subscribed to the YouTube channel (Andy Frisch) be sure to do so soon. There are over 300 subscribers and over 400 videos, with more being uploaded regularly.
Ok, I’ve gotta run, but expect to see Carb Cycling 101 in a couple days.
