I started training with Andy in September 2014. He helped me set goals for weight loss, fitness and nutrition. He’s very knowledgeable about how nutrition and training work together to help you meet your goals. He continually challenges me with my workouts through cardio and weight training. Within a year I have lost 85 pounds, dropped numerous pant and shirt sizes, and have become stronger.

I appreciate that Andy is not a drill sergeant but instead, he is friendly, invested, and encourages me to reach my goals!

“I’ve been living in Los Angeles for over 8 years now. Anyone who has lived out here can tell you how tough it is. My first 3 years were a financial disaster. Barely getting by, isolated and depressed, my body suffered and really took a dive. In 2009, I was 6’3 / 185 lbs. By the end of 2011 I was 165 lbs. I’ve always been muscular and fit from sports, but not having enough money for the right foods or a gym my body lost a lot of muscle mass.

After getting on my feet, I was able to bulk back up from 165lbs to 195lbs and keep it with the help of Andy’s nutrition counseling and exercise programs.

Desiree is inspiring others!

Determined. I was determined to overcome the depression, disordered eating, low self-esteem, and up and down weight. Life had smacked me right in the face and I was not going to just sit there and take it. I was going to make my life MINE again and I was going to do that no matter what. But to do so, I was going to need some guidance and knowledge. Thankfully, I not only know the founder of Fresh Evolution Fitness, but he is also one of my closest friends.

I was able to cash in on Andy’s gift of knowledge and want to help anyone who wants to be healthy. Andy offered me continuous support while showing me how to identify my goals and what steps to take to meet them. He helped me to find a nutrition plan that fit my body and my goals. And the best part is he shared his knowledge as I was ready to receive it, helping me to understand that lifelong health and fitness optimization is a marathon, not a sprint.

I have been able to take everything he has taught me to achieve my goals and set new ones. I am the healthiest I have ever been – full of energy, healthy self-esteem and weight, with a passion and focus on health and fitness. After many years of being sedentary and slowly putting on unwanted extra weight, I made the decision to turn my life around. I began training with Andy at our local gym in August of 2014. I won’t lie. It wasn’t easy. He had me doing things that I had never even considered. Many days I left the gym so tired and exhausted that I didn’t think I could keep up. But I continued to go back and it wasn’t long before I began to see results. My weight was dropping. My stamina was increasing, and I was able to do more and more of the exercises that Andy was teaching me on my own. By Christmas, I had lost 23 pounds. Andy kept pushing me forward, encouraging me to work harder, eat better, and not lose sight of how far I had come. 

Now, one year later, I have lost a total of 44 pounds. However, more than that, I have learned an entirely different lifestyle. It’s not about fad diets, crazy cardio, or other weight loss hype. The most important lesson that I have learned from Andy is that consistency is the key. A balanced diet, working out, lifting weights, that is the answer. When I think I can’t give anymore, Andy tells me that I can. His support, encouragement, and wisdom have made all the difference in my life.
